China export standards for Indonesia (SNI / SDPPI)

Indonesia's national standards body, the National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BSN), publishes Indonesian National Standards (SNI). For many regulated product categories, SNI certification through an accredited body is mandatory before goods may be sold in the domestic market. Telecommunications and radio-frequency products require type approval from the Directorate General of Posts and Information Technology (SDPPI) under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources oversees energy-related regulations relevant to solar and storage products. Exporters from China should identify whether mandatory SNI certification applies and engage a BSN-accredited testing laboratory.
