A clear map of cross-border standards for Chinese exporters.
Select a product and target market to see which regulations, certifications, and gaps apply — all linked to official sources.
SCOPE OF THIS TOOL
What Cross-Standard is — and is not.
✓ What it IS
- A standards index: structured table of which target-market regulations apply per product category and destination.
- Gap comparison: side-by-side delta between the Chinese standard (GB/T or sector equivalent) and the target-market standard.
- Official-source links: every entry links directly to the issuing body's published document or registry (IEC, CENELEC, SAC, SASO, etc.).
- Change alerts: each entry carries a "last verified" date and flags when a standard has been amended or superseded.
✗ What it is NOT
- Does not host full-text PDFs of any standard — always consult the official platform.
- Does not issue pass/fail conclusions or certification status for any product or manufacturer.
- Is not legal, testing, or certification advice — engage an accredited test lab and qualified legal counsel for compliance decisions.
- Does not maintain a supplier directory, accept RFQs, or facilitate any commercial transaction.

EDITORIAL PROCESS
Methodology
Every comparison entry follows a documented editorial protocol: primary sources only (issuing body publications), explicit "last verified" dates, a changelog for amendments, and a clear distinction between mandatory regulations and voluntary standards. No entry is published without cross-checking against the official issuing body's current register.
