China export standards for Perovskite / tandem PV module

Perovskite and perovskite-silicon tandem photovoltaic modules represent a frontier in solar cell technology, with conversion efficiencies exceeding those of conventional crystalline silicon. Exporting these modules from China to global markets poses distinct compliance challenges: the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 frameworks used for standard silicon modules do not fully address perovskite-specific degradation mechanisms, lead content and hazardous substance restrictions (RoHS, REACH) require careful review, and some markets are only beginning to develop type-approval procedures for novel cell architectures.
