China export standards for LED luminaire

LED luminaires—including downlights, panel lights, street lights, and commercial fixtures—are one of the highest-volume export categories from China. Despite their apparent simplicity, LED luminaires face a layered compliance picture: photobiological safety (IEC 62471 blue-light hazard classification), electrical safety (IEC 60598), EMC, energy efficiency labelling, and in some markets mandatory minimum efficacy regulations all apply simultaneously.
