Track 2 · Robot Sourcing

What robot components and platforms actually cost, how to compare buy options (AMR vs. AGV, build vs. buy a joint module), and how to vet a supplier before you wire a deposit. Commercial companion to the engineering-focused Robot 101.

Track 3 · Advanced Verticals

Sector-specific sourcing playbooks for Asaptic's advanced verticals — BESS and solar inverters, medical and clinical devices, EV-charger power modules, and deep-tech photonics — where compliance and qualification add real cost and lead time.

Who is Trade University written for?
First-time importers, procurement teams, and hardware founders who need working knowledge of trade mechanics and sourcing economics — not a law degree. Lessons favor plain language, worked numbers, and comparison tables over legal citation.
Is this the same as Robot 101?
No. Robot 101 is an engineering primer on how robots are built. The Robot Sourcing track here is commercial — cost benchmarks, buy vs. build, and comparison shopping for the same components. The two link to each other where relevant.
How often are new lessons added?
Trade University is an active content hub — new lessons are published on a rolling basis across all three tracks. Lessons marked "coming soon" are on the near-term roadmap.
