China export standards for Air-source heat pump

Air-source heat pumps extract thermal energy from ambient air to provide space heating, cooling, and domestic hot water. Chinese manufacturers exporting heat pumps face a complex grid of requirements: refrigerant regulations restrict or phase out high-GWP HFCs under regimes such as the EU F-gas Regulation and the Kigali Amendment; seasonal energy efficiency metrics (SCOP, SEER under EU Ecodesign; HSPF and EER in North America) set minimum performance thresholds; and electrical safety, EMC, and noise emission limits must be met for CE, UKCA, or national marks.
